| The Group
belongs entirely to the Bárány family, which has been involved
in poultry raising for four generations over the past 100
years and is the oldest poultry raising dynasty in Hungary.
The first generation of the family which started the tradition
raised poultry for the noble Széchenyi family. Commitment
to poultry farming, which was passed from generation to
generation, underlies the current success of the Group.
The first products of the Group were the Red Master free-range
poultry line. Their first-class quality, which is unmatched
in Hungary, established the Group’s good reputation and
facilitated the introduction of the Group’s other products
in all domestic supermarket and hypermarket chains.
The branded broiler products were introduced to the market
under the brand name Master Good. Commitment to quality
has enabled us to win the customers’ confidence in the brand.
The expansion of the Master Good product line is an ongoing
process. At present, fresh slaughtered whole and cut-up
chickens, seasoned and marinated products, and stuffed products
belong to the line. Lovers of barbecue will enjoy the newest
additions: the Hungarian-style and spicy grill products.
The ever-changing expectations of consumers calls for newer
and newer products, which is why the company’s product range
is being continuously expanded.
Consumers’ quality requirements concerning poultry are
increasing as a result of the recent avian flu panic generated
by the media. Traceability and the certification of origin
have gained special importance. Domestic poultry processing
plants that apply a high-level quality assurance system
are entitled to equip their products with the Hungarian
Poultry emblem, which guarantees the high quality of the
product.
The owners of Master Good Group are proud of the development
that has taken place at the Group since its foundation 11
years ago. It is remarkable and worth mentioning that the
country’s first poultry integration, which represents European
quality, was established in an underdeveloped region of
the country, where the Group offers prospects for farmers,
suppliers and employees.
