Guinea-fowl
the Queen
of Poultry
Guinea-fowls originate from Africa and are the least
domesticated, practically semi-wild, type of poultry.
They have been raised in Hungarian homesteads for
a long time. Our company raises free-range guinea-fowls
on spacious pastures.
The meat of guinea-fowls are often compared to that
of pheasants, the “royal” game, and for a good reason:
it is excellent in soups, or roasted, steamed or served
with various sauces, and has always been a festive
food.
Of all domesticated fowls, their meat is the most
reminiscent of the taste of winged game.
